Shindigs Catering, Birmingham, AL

As an office assistant, I had the opportunity of working lunch hours on the food truck, as well as holding many administrative responsibilities including handling all catering inquiries and completing a cost and inventory project for the company. 

Scott River Lodge, Fort Jones, CA 

I served in the hospitality specialist position at Scott River Lodge from May to August 2012. Daily tasks at the Lodge included overseeing housekeeping staff, executing breakfast room service, and operating the Lodge gift store. 

Urban Cookhouse, Birmingham, AL

Throughout my college experience, I worked part-time for Urban Cookhouse as a hostess/cashier. Taking orders, running food orders, and maintaining excellent customer service were the name of the game at Urban Cookhouse. 

Alabama Biscuit Company, Birmingham, AL

In December of 2013, I participated in the launch of a new local restaurant that uses all fresh, organic and natural ingredients to create unique variations of the iconic Southern biscuit. 

WORK EXPERIENCE

Fortunately, I have enjoyed many part-time positions during my time at Auburn University gaining experience in various hospitality outlets, from a local restaurant setting to a five-star lodge destination. My time spent at each venue cultivated within me a greater attention to detail in service and developed a greater sense of flexibility and leadership as well.
